Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, will cut 13 percent of its workforce.

Meta is going to cut 11,000 employees. Meta has 87 thousand employees from different countries. Meta Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg called the cuts “the most difficult change in Meta’s history.”

“I know it’s hard for everyone. I am especially sorry to those who were affected,” Chief Executive Zuckerberg wrote in a statement.
