With 4.93 million pre-orders, the upcoming album “5-STAR” by Stray Kids sets a record.
The upcoming “5-STAR” album from boy band Stray Kids has received more than 4.93 million pre-orders as of Tuesday, making it the most pre-ordered album in K-pop history. On June 2, Stray Kids’ third full-length album, “5-STAR,” will be released.
The boy band’s earlier albums also saw strong sales, and in 2021, Stray Kids’ second full-length album, “Noeasy,” became the group’s first to sell one million copies. Its EP “Oddinary” (2022), which sold 1.85 million copies, came in second, followed by “Maxident,” which sold over 3.42 million copies, making it the most popular album released by the boy band’s management company JYP Entertainment.
