U-19 Cricket Far West Qualifier: Baitadi’s first win.
Kailali – Baitadi defeated Darchula by 56 runs in the fourth day of Waiwai U-19 Sudurpaschim Province cricket qualifying tournament. Baitadi won the toss and chose to bat in the match at Karvadahl in Mahendranagar. Baitadi managed to score 168 runs at the loss of all wickets in the scheduled 40 overs. For Baitadi, Deepak Bohra managed to score the maximum 90 runs in 45 balls, while Sudeep Karki scored 33 runs in 59 balls and Pradeep Chand scored 10 runs in 11 balls.
In bowling, Bipin Dhami of Darchula managed to take 5 wickets with 32 runs in 8 overs. While Viren Vam spent 59 runs in 8 overs, Sagar Vam also managed to take 2 and 2 wickets by spending 17 runs in 2.1 overs. Darchula, who entered the field chasing a winning target of 169 runs, managed to score only 112 runs in 30 overs in the scheduled 40 overs match.
