Europe as a whole is experiencing extreme heat. On Tuesday, the island of Sardinia in Italy registered 46 degrees Celsius. The Spanish island of La Palma is engulfed in a raging fire. There are numerous forest fires in Greece as well.

The only way to deal with such weather, according to the World Meteorological Organization, is to take drastic steps to stop climate change.
