The Indian government has given permission for the IPL to be held in the UAE

Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 cricket is set to take place in the UAE. The Indian government has given permission to hold the 13th edition of the IPL in the UAE, which could not be held in India due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The governing body of the IPL on Sunday received permission from the Indian government to host the IPL in the UAE.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had said that the IPL would be held from September 19 to November 10. BCCI’s proposal has been accepted by the Indian government.

This is the second time the IPL is being held in the UAE. Earlier in 2014, the first round of games was held in the UAE.
