Ronaldo and Dibla’s goal in Juventus’ victory, Lazio’s comeback victory.
July 17, Kathmandu. League leaders Juventus eased to a comfortable victory in last night’s Italian Serie A match, while second-placed Lazio registered a comeback.
Juventus beat Genoa 3-1 thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo DiBalla and Douglas Costa. All goals in the game were scored in the second half. Genoa held Juventus to a goalless draw in the first half at home.
But Dibla scored in the 50th minute to give Juventus the lead. Maronaldo doubled Juventus’ lead in the 56th minute.
Costa scored in the 73rd minute to put Juventus in a strong position. Andre Ponamonti scored a consolation goal for Genoa at home in the 76th minute.
After the win, Juventus added 72 points from 29 games and maintained a four-point lead over second-placed Lazio.
Second-placed Lazio beat Toriona 2-1 to follow Juventus. Lazio, who was one goal behind, came back and scored the second two goals. In the fifth minute of the game, Andre Bellotti scored on a penalty kick to give the home side the lead. But could not maintain the lead in the second half.
Ciro Immobile equalized for Lazio in the 48th minute. Marco Parolo scored in the 72nd minute to give Lazio the victory. After the victory, Lazio has added 68 points from 29 games.
