Phulchowki is the highest hill situated in the south of Kathmandu valley. Phulchowki is one of the best place for hiking. This place is really famous and everyone knows this place name. You can start your hiking after reaching Godavari (botanical garden) and going upward the hill through dense forest. Well you can easily reach as the way is easy. There are other way as well to reach Phulchowki and that will be Namobuddha, Lakuri Bhanjyang and Bhardev.

From September to December you can watch snowcapped mountains as it is the winter time. There use to be often snowfall in this hill. Many people also go there to have fun with snow. You can also see the Nepal Army Base Camp at the top of the hills. The spectacular view will make your hike more wonderful and less tiring.
