The skateboarding competition for the 2024 Paris Olympics is dominated by heavyweights from the United States, Japan, and Australia. And, with nearly all of the medalists from the Tokyo Olympics returning and new talent rising in the last three years, the inaugural skateboarding competitions on July 27 will be very competitive.

Like in Tokyo, the majority of competitors competing in Paris are teenagers, including 11-year-old park skateboarder Zheng Haohao, the Games’ youngest athlete. The gatherings are not limited to teenagers, however. Andy Macdonald, a park skateboarder, will compete for Great Britain just a week after turning 51.
