Nepal gave India a target of 168 runs

In their second match of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup cricket tournament, Nepal set a target of 168 runs to the India ‘A’ team on Monday. The match is being played at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka.

Nepal won the toss and decided to bat first. The Nepali team, who had a disappointing start to the innings, managed to score only 167 runs before being bowled out in 39.2 overs. Nepal lost Lalit Rajwanshi as the last wicket. His wicket was taken by Nisant Sindhu. Lalit’s catch was taken by Sindhu himself. Kishore Mahato remained unbeaten on two runs.

Captain Rohit Paudel contributed 65 runs for Nepal. Gulsan Jha scored 38 runs. Nepal got 13 extra runs. Indian bowler Nisant Sindhu took four wickets. Rajbadhan Hangargekar took three wickets.
