It is the second biggest mountain in the world which name is “Mount k2” after Mount Everest at 8,848 metres (29,029 ft). Mount k2 height is 8,611 metres(28,251 ft) above the sea level which is in Pakistan. K2 is the highest point of the Karakoram mountain range and the highest point in both Pakistan and Xinjiang. It is located near to the boarder of China and Pakistan. Due to the very difficult to climb the Mt. k2 so, it is also known as killing mountain. This mountain is very dangerous that it took many life of the people who gone there to climb. As of June 2018, only 367 people have completed the ascent. There have been 86 deaths during attempted climbs, according to the list maintained on the list of deaths on eight-thousanders. It is commonly known as the ‘savage Mountain’ due to its difficult ascent and high fatality rate. Achille Compagnoni was an Italian mountaineer and skier. Together with Lino Lacedelli on 31 July 1954 he was in the first party to reach the summit of K2. Climbing in winter k2 is super steep, because you have to go through blue ice or rock. The temperature goes below up to -65 to -70 degree. This kind of Mountain is the way to challenge the death and get victory on it.
