Manang’s third loss in a row
Kathmandu: Sudil Rai’s decisive goal led Tribhuvan Army Club to defeat Manang Marsyangdi Club by 1-0 in Shahid Smarak A Division League on Tuesday. The only goal scored by Sudil in the 75th minute of the match at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar became decisive.
Sudil scored a goal by hitting the rebound ball from Jagjit Shrestha’s free kick from the right side from inside the 6 yard box.
Navyug Shrestha of Army missed a beautiful chance in the first minute of the competitive game. Apart from that, although Manang created some opportunities, they could not avoid defeat due to the lack of expected finishing.
Manang has lost for the third game in a row. Manang, without a win in the last four matches, lost to Jawalakhel Youth Club in the last match with the result of 3-0 goals.

Khumaltar lost 3-1 to NRT

Saroj Tamang scored in the 65th minute to give NRT the lead. Saroj scored with a header from Kritish Ratna Chunju’s cross from the left.
Sanjeev Bisht doubled NRT’s lead with eight minutes left of the scheduled 90-minute match. Less than three minutes later, Khumaltar was 3-0 behind with Mohit Gurung’s goal.
Shyam Murmu of Khumaltar scored a goal with one minute remaining in the scheduled 90-minute match, but could not avoid a 3-1 defeat.
With the win, NRT has climbed to the 10th position in the table with 10 points from 10 matches. Khumaltar, who scored the same 10 points from the same game, has fallen to the 11th place.
