‘Kerala Story’ was halted by the UK and grossed 112 crores in India.

. The Indian movie “The Kerala Story” has been outlawed by the British Censor Board. Following the “censor failure,” the British multiplex gave the audience their money back for the ticket sales and took the program off its website.

The Sudipto Sen-directed movie was slated to open in 31 theaters in the UK and Ireland as of last Friday. However, the theaters halted ticket sales and postponed the performances. The British Censor Board, however, asserts that the practice of censoring is still legal and not prohibited.
