Comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma will be seen in a new film. According to the Indian media Dainik Jagran, he is going to be seen in the film ‘The Crew’. In this film, he is working with famous actresses of Bollywood. He will be seen alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu in the film. But Kapil has not given official information about the film.

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the film stars Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. The comedy genre film will also feature Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role.

Ekta Kapoor informed through Instagram that the shooting of the film has started. Kapil started his film career with the movie ‘Kis Kise Pyaar Karoon’ directed by Abbas Mastan. He has also acted in the films ‘Firangi’ and ‘Zwigato’. All these three films did not do well at the box office.

Currently the fourth season of Kapil’s ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is being aired.

Kapil was interested in singing from an early age. But he worked in the theater. He gained a lot of fame while working in the theatre. For this reason, he was admitted free of cost by the college in Amritsar.

He came to Mumbai after his graduation. He auditioned for the ‘Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ but was not selected. He auditioned again in the third season of this show. This season he was not only selected but also the winner. After becoming the winner of the show, he never looked back.

He has acted in comedy shows like Chhote Mian, Jhalak Dikha Jaa, and Comedy Circus. After that, he launched ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ from his own production house.
