IPL: Bangalore beat Mumbai in Super Over.

29 September, Kathmandu. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Mumbai Indians in a super over.

Batting first after losing the toss, Bangalore scored 201 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Chasing the victory target of 202 runs, Mumbai scored 201 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. This is the first time in IPL history that a match has been tied with more than 200 runs.

After the score of both the teams was equal, the game went to Super Over. At one point of the match, Mumbai looked like Harla. The team lost 4 wickets in 15 overs and scored 112 runs. Mumbai needed 90 runs to win. Kieron Pollard (10) and Ishan Kishan (61) were at the crease. From here, they both deal with their confidence as they choose to embark on their play activities. In the end, after scoring 89 runs in 5 overs, the game was drawn.

Pollard scored 60 off 24 balls and Ishaan scored 99 off 58 balls. The duo shared a 119-run partnership for the fifth wicket. In the super over, Mumbai gave Bangalore a target of eight runs. Which was easily achieved by Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.

This is the second super over of the IPL this season. Earlier, Delhi Capitals had defeated Kings XI Punjab in a super over.
