Top Apple analyst says iPhone 16 Pro will get an even bigger screen and new periscope camera
In a blog post published on Tuesday, renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo made the prediction that the iPhone 16 Pro will have a larger screen and a periscope camera. In comparison to the displays on the current iPhone 14 Pro and the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro, Kuo claimed that the display on the iPhone 16 Pro will be “slightly larger.” He claimed that the larger size would provide enough room for the addition of a periscope camera. In 2024, the iPhone 16 models are anticipated.
Improved zoom is possible with a periscope camera, and Kuo predicted that both the iPhone 16 Pro and the larger iPhone 16 Pro Max would have one. He predicted that this year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max, the biggest and priciest model in Apple’s upcoming lineup, would include a periscope camera back in March.
Periscope cameras haven’t yet been incorporated into an iPhone, but they have been used by Google and Samsung among other Android manufacturers. Kuo’s remarks support those made by Ross Young, another industry analyst, who predicted that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max would have larger screens. Young mentioned last week that he had “heard about some new sizes on the Pro models” in a tweet.
Young responded “close” when another user predicted that the iPhone 16 Pro would grow from 6.1 to 6.4 inches and the iPhone 16 Pro Max from 6.7 to 6.9 inches. Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
