IMDb has released the 10 most popular web series of the past five years

IMDb has released a list of popular web series from 2018 to 2023. The most popular series of the last five years have found a place in this list. In 2018, the first season of ‘Sacred Games Games’ has topped the list, while ‘Mirzapur’, which came in the same year, has won the second place.

The 2020 series ‘Scam 1992’ is third, ‘The Family Man’ fourth and Aspirants’ fifth. It is said that this data is taken on the basis of page visits of IMDB users. Vikramaditya Motwane, co-producer of Sacred Games Games, said that it is an honor to have Sacred Games Games at the top of this list.

“Criminal Justice” is in the sixth position, “Breed” is in the seventh position, “Kota Factory” is in the eighth position, “Panchayat” is in the ninth position and “Patal Lok” is in the tenth position.

Yamini Patodia, head of IMDb India, said that with the increase in streaming options in the country, people’s inclination towards web series is increasing. With this list coming, viewers from all over the world will get to know about Indian web series. The special thing is that the top-2 series of this list (Sacred Games Games and Mirzapur) have completed five years.

Apart from the most popular web series, IMDb has also released another list. Top rated web series are ranked in this list. ‘Scam 1992’ scored the highest (9.3/10) and ‘Aspirants’ got second place with 9.2 points. The third number is ‘Gulak’, which has got a rating of 9.1 out of 10.
