The world’s oldest medical system is Ayurveda. It is thought that Ayurveda served as the model for all other medical systems that were created worldwide. Due of Ayurveda’s capacity to eradicate diseases at their underlying causes, the majority of the population now trust it.

What medicine

Kaya is a word that implies fire. Kaya medicine refers to fire-related medicine. In Ayurveda, Agni is regarded as the most significant. The three doshas and the seven metals are all in a balanced state when our body’s fire starts to function correctly. The bowel movement and every other bodily action will be accurate if the fire is burning correctly. This is an indication of a well-lived life.

The primary emphasis of Ayurvedic medicine is the digestive fire. Agni is regarded as the body’s primary energy. Agni regulates all hormones, chemicals, and salts in the body. Our body’s metabolism is likewise reliant on this fire.

In Ayurveda, there are thirteen forms of fire. wherein the digestive fire, or Jatharagni, is regarded as the primary fire. Disease is invited into the body when there is insufficient or excessive digestive fire. Physiotherapy is used to treat this illness. Chiropractic care is used to cure occult disorders such as fever, diabetes, leprosy, arthritis, diarrhea, anemia, piles, and stomach-related conditions.

Pediatric Medicine

Pediatric pharmacy includes the evaluation and management of disorders that affect pregnant women as well as the care after delivery and treatment of newborns. This constitutes Ayurvedic medicine’s second principal branch.

Ghost lore

Under this, mental sickness is mostly treated. Under Bhoot Vidya, rituals like tying with a rope and sticking medicine in the nose are performed. This ritual serves as treatment for mental disease.

Surgery

Surgery is referred to as “surgery” in Ayurveda. Any serious wound or damage is treated using whatever means possible, sometimes requiring surgery. Sushruta states that surgery is necessary to treat diseases that coexist with wounds or injuries and spread as separate disorders.
Shalakya Tantra

Problems related to the throat and the organs above the throat, mouth, nose, ears and eyes are treated under Shalakya Tantra. It is treated with the help of shalaka. In allopathy it is called ENT and Ophthalmology.

Agad Tantra

Agad Tantra deals with the detection of various poisons and the cure of ailments they produce. Any type of poison that originates from plants, minerals, or other substances is considered poison in Ayurveda. the substance that comes out of scorpion, snake, and other bites. Agad Tantra is the practice of treating these many poisons using various therapeutic approaches.

Chemistry

Rasa and dhatu are particularly important in Ayurveda. An overabundance or shortage of these rasa and dhatu in the body results in disease. The treatment strategy used to treat this form of sickness is called Rasayana Tantra. In this field of medicine, Ayurvedic remedies are highly beneficial for disorders like facial dryness, hair graying, and hair loss.

Vajikaran Tantra

Treatment for sexual disorders falls under the purview of Vajikarana Tantra. Vajikaran is the name of the Ayurvedic medication that aids in boosting our fertility. Diseases like impotence, sperm deficiency, physical weakness, etc. are treated under this.
