Coachless Manang beat Army
In Shaheed Smarak A Division League, coachless Manang Masryangdi Club won 1-0 over Nepal Army.
Timothy Kudo scored a goal in the injury time for Manang in the eighth match to get their first victory. Manang, who was winless in the previous seven games, had lost six games in a row.
Manang’s coach Kiran Shrestha resigned after consecutive defeats in the league.
Because of this, Manang went to the field today without a coach. Manang’s touch line goal keeper coach Pravin Shrestha handled it.
With this win, Manang has climbed to the sixth place in the table by collecting 18 points from 14 games. Army, which is in fifth place, has 20 points from 14 matches.
