Chandragiri hill is the most famous place now where many people use to go there to visit and have some fun and enjoy their day out. The distance between chandragiri and kathmandu is about 1689 km. Chandragiri hill lies on the south- west side of Kathmandu.

To reach chandragiri you need to take bus from kathmandu to thankot which takes about one hour time or you can hire car to reach there. To reach up to chandragiri cable car you can hire car or take a bus from kalanki to thankot and is really not that far you can just walk right away for about 10 minutes.

The Chandragiri cable car is a gondola lift transportation system which can carry 1000 people per hour. At the top of Chandragiri hill there is Bhaleshswor Mahadev temple. It has kind of warm and antique vibe. Many people go there to worship and feel bless. The temple and the statue are so beautiful. You can find Nandu Bull sits in a pose as usual at the porch of the temple and beyond that there lies a Shivalainga with all its glory.

Not only this outside the temple you can find the statue of King Prithvi Narayan Shah. In the statue he had hold sword with one hand and garland around neck. You will get to see the entire mountain ranges from Chandragiri hills. It is really beautiful and has its own beauty. It feels so refresh and calming your heart when you see this.

This is the best scene you should see once in a lifetime. It is really great to see the view as you will be at 2500 metres above the sea level. When you are in cable car, you can see the landscapes being slowly unevil themselves. Even though in cable car it doesn’t take more than 10 minutes, you can find all the things amaze you.
