Bollywood actress Bhagyashree coming to Nepal

Bhagyashree has arrived in Nepal on Saturday to participate in a ceremony to be organized in the capital. Talking to media persons at Tribhuvan Airport, she expressed her happiness to come to Nepal. “I had come to Nepal before, I have thought of coming here with my family during some festival”, she said, “My movies are coming, watch them and love them.”

Indian actors Ranjeen, Bindu Dahra Singh, comedian Dhvani Pawar and others have arrived in Nepal to participate in the ceremony. They came to Nepal to participate in India’s prestigious award ‘Captivating Creation Award’. This is the sixth edition of the award. The award ceremony, which was held earlier in India, is being held in Nepal this time.

Bhagyashree Patwardhan, popularly known as Bhagyashree, is an Indian actress who gained fame for her debut role as Suman in the Bollywood film “Maine Pyar Kiya” (1989). She was born on February 23, 1969, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Bhagyashree comes from a prominent family in the film industry. Her father, Vijay Singhrao Patwardhan, was the former Maharaja of Sangli, and her mother, Rajlaxmi Patwardhan, is a social worker and philanthropist. She has a younger brother named Yogesh Patwardhan.

She completed her schooling at St. Joseph’s Convent School in Mumbai and went on to earn a degree in Commerce from Jai Hind College. Bhagyashree was interested in acting from a young age and participated in several school plays and theater productions.

In 1989, Bhagyashree made her acting debut in the romantic drama “Maine Pyar Kiya” opposite Salman Khan. The film became a massive success and catapulted both Bhagyashree and Salman Khan to overnight stardom. Her portrayal of the innocent and lovable character Suman won her widespread acclaim and a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

After a long hiatus, Bhagyashree made a comeback to acting in the early 2000s, starring in several Marathi films. Some of her notable Marathi films include “Zhak Marli Bayko Keli” (2009) and “Janmadata” (2010).
