Akshay Kumar quits ‘Gorkha’

Actor Akshay Kumar will not act in director Anand L. Rai’s film “Gorkha.” The film was a biopic of Indian Army Major General Ian Cardozo. This film was based on the war of 1971. Major General Ian Cardozo had his leg amputated by Khukuri after his leg fell on a land line during the 1971 war.

According to director Rai, the script of the film is in its final stage. Rai plans to start shooting the film after the completion of the story, but after Akshay backs out, he is confused about who to cast. Akshay’s spokesperson has confirmed that he has parted ways with the film. But he has not disclosed the reason why he separated.
