ACC Premiere Cup: Faiz half-century against Nepal
Kathmandu: In the first match of Group ‘A’ of ACC Men’s Premiere Cup, Malaysian captain Ahmad Faiz score a half-century against Nepal.
Faiz who started batting after winning the toss at the University Cricket Ground, came to the crease in one down for Malaysia and completed 50 runs in 64 balls with seven fours.
Faiz scored the first half-century of the innings by sharing a 72-run partnership with opener Virandeep Singh. Virandeep is scoring 28 runs off 52 balls with four fours.
Earlier, another opener Mohammad Amir has returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs in 18 balls.
Apart from Gulshan Jha, no other bowler has been able to take a wicket for Nepal. Malaysia have completed 100 runs in 23 overs with the loss of one wicket.
