Ford’s new generation EcoSport will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The company is working to bring a new generation eco sport to the market at the beginning of 2021.

The Ford EcoSport currently has a 1.5-liter engine. With the launch of the partnership between Mahindra and Ford in India, the new generation EcoSport will use a 1.2-liter turbo engine made by Mahindra.

Mahindra has given this engine in its first sub-meter SUV ‘XUV 300’. At present, sales of EcoSport and XUV 300 in India are almost the same. However, the advantage of the safest car made in India seems to be the XUV 300 tomorrow.

Its 1.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine delivers a maximum of 109 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque.
